With its proven expertise, Synthetic Padel Group was chosen to design, supply, and install the first full construction padel court in Sydney for Padel In One and Indoor Padel in Alexandria.

The build itself took a thoughtful design and planning process to unify the centre as a whole whilst adhering to strict building and fire code regulations within Australia that come with building indoor facilities.

The first challenge, unloading 2 x 40ft containers in a highly trafficable commercial area, was met with meticulous planning. This approach not only minimised crane time but also ensured budget requirements were met without disturbing the surrounding landscape.

Once unloaded, the Synthetic Padel team erected the metal and glass framed structures in 10 working days. The courts had to be built to allow access to the heavy machinery required to lift the 48 x 200kg glass panels. The machinery needed to enter and exit the facility freely without any obstacles and also to be able to exit once all structures were complete.

Synthetic Padel Group then installed Mondo Synthetic Grass, which had been wrinkled in the transportation process. As we were working within an indoor structure, there was no sunlight to warm the grass to make it a more workable product. To remove the grass creases, our team used their experienced knowledge of synthetic grass and took the additional time to stretch and work the grass to ensure it was delivered to a high standard.

The Synthetic Padel team installed Synlawn CoolPlay Synthetic Grass in yellow to the fire egress ways. The client chose this colour as it is their signature colour and acts as a high visibility fire exit walkway complying with safety regulations.

The Indoor Padel team where so happy, we also constructed and installed 4 outdoor courts at the same location, and have now also completed a second project for Indoor Padel in the Northern Beaches.
